About Codex Sinaiticus
Codex Sinaiticus was produced during the 4th century AD and is one of the earliest surviving manuscripts containing the complete Christian New Testament.
The Gospel of Mark in Codex Sinaiticus is especially fascinating because its ancient text ends at Mark 16:8, following the discovery of the empty tomb. The later verses Mark 16:9–20 are not present in Codex Sinaiticus.
